technically, this tree is part of the clinton hill series, but i figured, this tree could be anywhere, so i'll keep it separate, since the point of it is not that it's in clinton hill, but that it's so striking against the sky. i mean, like, this tree makes me believe in god. this tree makes me think of the perfection of nature, of the fibonacci sequence, fractals, the human nervous system, just...things that are too complex and fantastic for me to wrap my mind around because it's too busy being boggled and blown. and maybe this tree doesn't make anyone else think of all that—maybe it's just a tree and only a tree to others. but i think it's rather amazing.
