"issue of the week #9: i have no internship currently."

i was in a sociology class my last year of college, which was actually an internship seminar. we would meet once a week and talk about our various internships, which were provided by the university. technically we were supposed to do our internships for the whole year, but mine got messed up and i ended up doing two different ones. my first one was called "computer technology internship program" and i was paired with a chinese professor who needed her website updated. but all she really wanted from me was the ability to speak and translate chinese, which, of course, i cannot. i have a theory that they paired me with her because my last name's lee and maybe, just maybe, i'd be chinese. yeah, no dice. so then i went on to do a graphic design internship at this place called roseberries graphic design. it turned out okay in the end, i guess.
