i was about to take a picture of more boats when i noticed my shadow looming over the pavement and thought it'd make a better picture than just the boats by themselves. pictures are usually so anonymous and it's hard to imagine the photographer behind the lens, so i think this picture is interesting since you can, in a sense, see me. also, i really like all the great colors and textures.
