i was sitting on the balcony of my apartment one day when i was struck by the silhouette of this magnolia tree against the sky. the sky was perfect that day, with just the right amount of clouds, and i'd always thought that the tree was lovely. so i took a picture—you know, it was another one of those moments where i was moved by some great artistic vision and had to commemorate it.
