espresso royale
2002
quicktime virtual reality (QTVR)
my friend danica and i took panoramic photos of "the corner" at UVA for a project involving a ridiculous sculpture by an artist called oppenheimer (i'm sorry, but i can't remember his first name at this point and i can't find him on google). we set up my camera in front of a coffee shop called espresso royale (which closed) that used to serve custom-ordered pizzas and pasta bakes. the dialogue within the thought and speech bubbles (click on them to switch back and forth between scenes) is a little whack, i know, plus the photos stitched poorly due to the images of moving cars, but it was a learning experience and QTVR was definitely a fun application to learn and work with.
