the song above holds many memories for me, reminding me of various people who had an impact on my life at some point. i love this verse in particular because of its whimsical quality and emphasis on fantasy. often times, reality is not as exciting or enriching as the dream world or the surreal. "champagne dream" is an abstract depiction of the song meant to evoke a sense of mystery, focusing on a sleeping woman and symbols from my own life.
