i went to barcelona with some friends in may 2011 and it was so, so beautiful, relaxing and fun. i've since vowed to go back every year from now on, with the excuse that there's a big music fesival every may called primavera sound (which is why i went in the first place). i also dream of buying some sort of real estate there, but i shouldn't get ahead of myself, considering i still need to buy real estate in new york. maybe someday.

so, we rented an apartment in el raval, off a street called rambla del raval. we rode bikes, went to the beach, went to the festival of course, ate a shit ton of paella, made new friends, had brunch on a boat, danced at a club and experienced the whole city going nuts during the barça vs. manchester united fútbol match. it. was. nuts. and i loved every single moment of it.
